We are hiring a voice teacher.
Teach private voice and singing lessons to students of all ages — children through adults — at a growing music school hosted at a well-established faith-based venue in Sun City. A dedicated teaching room and piano/keyboard are provided.
This is an independent contractor position, engaged by the Music Director. The studio handles recruitment, scheduling, billing and admin — you focus entirely on teaching. Students also have optional solo performance opportunities with a free accompanist, and a pathway into the community choir.

Teach private voice lessons at one consistent location, tailoring your teaching to each student’s goals — from beginners to exam or performance preparation. Communicate professionally with students and parents, and keep a reliable weekly schedule during the agreed teaching window.
- Degree in voice, music, or music education — or equivalent professional training and experience
- Demonstrated experience teaching voice to a range of ages and levels
- Healthy, well-grounded vocal technique and the ability to accompany simple warm-ups at the keyboard (basic piano skills sufficient)
- Warm, patient, professional manner with students and families
- Reliability — students and families depend on a consistent schedule
- Experience with church music and faith-based events preferred
- Must pass a background check (fingerprint clearance card preferred, or willingness to obtain one)
- Students are brought to you — no need to find your own clients
- Consistent single location with equipment and waiting room provided
